Happy Birthday, Aamir 'Babloo' Khan!

Happy Birthday to you, Aamir!
This time, you are rocking the small screen with your latest commercial for Tata Sky, where you have become Babloo - the cricket fan who watches cricket in HD clarity and does what can be described as 'remote umpiring'. It is a hilarious of yours, once again. And the commercial is a big hit not only on telly, aired along with the ICC Cricket World Cup telecast, but also on Youtube.

More power to you, Aamir-da...... keep rocking!
Here's wishing you a prosperous year ahead - you are surely going to be busy with your new films - and I wish you all the success for the years to come.

Here's wishing Mr Perfectionist a very happy birthday, and GLORIOUS YEARS ahead! In the words of Akash, tha character played by Aamir Khan in 'Dil Chahta Hai': Perfection ko improve karna mushqil hota hai.

That's why Aamir has no parallels. He is and will remain the 'Ace' Khan!

Aamir has himself said that he has expanded his acting horizons in the recent years, and he couldn't have been more right. Aren't we all glad for that? I mean, he was in great demand as a romantic hero in the teenybopper romances that he had started out with, initially, but he has moved way ahead progressively, with the varied roles that he has brilliantly performed in, one after the other, and has even broken barriers by challenging himself donning new looks, be it in films or commercials. Some of his television commercials have become major success stories even in their theatrical exhibition, before the screening of the feature films (only a few other Indian actors like Ranbir Kapoor, and Shah Rukh Khan have managed to pull it off)!
Now, as a producer and director, Aamir Khan has moved way ahead of his peers, he has no parallels, no competitors in the real sense hence. He does not suffer from a false sense of insecurity as he refrains from being vain and immodest.
I wish my idol a long life, and may he shine with his commendable contribution towards cinema.

Aamir rocks with his unique sense of humor, he has long outgrown the matinee idol image, and have become bigger still! He is a true icon in every sense of the term. He defies norms, challenges odds, and makes path-breaking progress every now and then. I envy his stamina.
This year, on the occasion of his birthday, when Aamir was asked, yet again, about his stance on awards, he took potshots at SRK (no real offence meant though).
Aamir is every bit genuine, unlike many of his fake counterparts; he never hesitates to mince his words for popular appeal or political correctness. That's why he is my favorite.

Aamir keeps experimenting in his workspace, so with each of his new piece of work one is assured to come across something new and fresh. He never stops surprising you. That's the appeal of his persona.
By the way, the new look of the blog is also a very, very pleasant surprise. It's looking cool!
